As the Chief Data Officer (CDO) at Augmentjobs, you will lead the data management and analytics functions within the company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies that drive business decisions, enhance data quality, and ensure compliance with data regulations. The CDO will work closely with other executives to align data initiatives with overall business goals and will oversee the data management team.

• Data Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Augmentjobs' business objectives and goals.

• Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the data management team, including data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers. Provide mentorship and career development opportunities.

• Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources to create a unified data ecosystem that supports business intelligence and analytics.

• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights and reports to support strategic decision-making processes.

• Data Architecture: Design and maintain data architectures, including data warehouses and data lakes, to support data management and analysis.

• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, marketing, and other departments to ensure data initiatives support business needs and drive value.

• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest data technologies and trends to implement best practices and innovative solutions for data management and analytics.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Management Professional) preferred.

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a data management or analytics role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or strategic role.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data governance frameworks.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools to manage multiple data initiatives effectively.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry best practices for data governance and security.

• Business Acumen: Ability to align data strategies with business goals and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

• Innovative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and strategically about data solutions and opportunities.

• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and analysis.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and emerging data technologies.
