About the Role
The Company is seeking a founding Chief Financial Officer to be a key player in establishing the financial and operational framework of a high-growth digital-asset start-up. This role is both strategic and hands-on, with the CFO responsible for designing and implementing the full finance function, including accounting systems, financial policies, and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury, fundraising, or asset-management environments, and will be instrumental in the capital-raising process, working closely with the CEO to execute a significant capital raise and manage investor relations. Key responsibilities for the CFO include building the financial infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and overseeing all financial reporting. The successful candidate will also be involved in strategic decision-making, and will be expected to recruit and mentor a finance and operations team as the business grows. A critical aspect of the role is the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced start-up environment, while maintaining a high level of financial discipline and governance. The CFO will be a strategic advisor to the CEO, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and integrity within the organization.
