We are looking for a Communications Lead. This position will be a full-time and hybrid contract opportunity.
Candidates must be a commutable distance to Trenton, NJ.
What You’ll Do
Develop comprehensive user guides, FAQs, and other documentation to support the new application
Craft clear and compelling messages about the benefits and features of the new system
Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders to ensure they are well-informed about the project’s progress and any changes
Ensure all users have access to the information they need by disseminating documentation through appropriate channels
Work closely with the OCM Lead to ensure that training materials are consistent with user guides and other documentation
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve communication materials
Coordinate with different departments to gather information and ensure all content is accurate and user-friendly
Lead evangelism efforts to promote the adoption of the new application among users
What You'll Need
Required
4+ years of relevant experience in communications, preferably within IT or project management environments
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
Proficiency in developing and implementing communication strategies
Familiarity with Salesforce-based applications is a plus
Strong organizational and detail-oriented capabilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Prior experience in the education sector or government projects
Experience with graphic design or multimedia content creation
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
