Job overview and responsibilities

This person would be part of the Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology Product Analytics team. In the position of Data Analyst Manager, your responsibilities include developing and maintaining solid relationships with key collaborators in the Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology teams. You will also be leading and coaching a team that will collaborate with the Digital Operations Center (DOC) on operational metrics.

You would be interpreting data from various sources, analyzing patterns and trends, and redefining it into actionable information to enhance Operational Excellence (OX). Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying application improvements and establishing metrics for measurement.

Areas of focus will include, but are not limited to:

•Data Visualization

•Application performance analysi

•Error patterns, top factors contributing to error

•Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: recommendations for performance and greater scalability

•Modeling and coding of data

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

Required

•Bachelor's degree with a background in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research) preferred

•4+ years of experience as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, or a related analytical role

•1+ years (3+ plus years preferred) as a Manager and at least 2 years in a Fortune 500 company

•Experience putting together presentations for collaborators and leaders at an MD and VP level and interact with all levels of management

•Proven Team Manager, ability to communicate a vision, inspire the team towards that vision and provide support to achieve it

•Expert level BI dashboarding experience (e.g. PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire, etc...) to produce meaningful, elegant dashboards.

•Advanced Excel knowledge

•Experience analyzing ecommerce platforms for Web, Mobile App, Loyalty, Demonstrated experience in handling substantial data sets and relational databases (SQL and Non-SQL)

•Ability to study/understand business needs, design data/technology metrics that connect business processes with quantifiable platform outcomes, Understand critical metric / Goal Settings from teams to large organization

•Advanced level SQL skill

•Strong problem-solving skills, using data to tackle problem

•Desire to attack complex data set

•Outstanding writing, communication, and presentation skill

•Ability to work independently and manage several simultaneous projects with a focus on result

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred

•Master's degree in analytical field preferred

•Certifications including Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Enterprise Data Warehouse certifications, Palantir, Client Side performance metrics tools e.g. Quantum Metric

•Experience with DataDog / AppD / Kibana

•Experience with Enterprise Monitoring System

•Experience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

•Experience with AWS - Redshift, Quicksight, Athena

•Experience with Big Query, Quantum Metrics, Akamai

•Experience with text analytics and machine learning

•Data Engineering experience

•Exposure to Python, Spark, R

•Continuous integration & delivery using Agile methodologies
