Are you passionate about electronics and skilled at troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices? We are seeking a talented Electronic Repair Technician to join our team. As an Electronic Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of electronic equipment, ranging from consumer electronics to industrial machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to ensuring the functionality and reliability of electronic devices.
Responsibilities: - Diagnose hardware and software issues in electronic devices, including but not limited to Video game consoles, clocks, radios, toys, televisions and any other electronic equipment.
- Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices to identify and replace defective components.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test and repair electronic circuits and systems.
- Follow standard repair procedures and guidelines to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on repair status and recommendations for device maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex technical issues and find solutions.
- Must have experience with Oscilloscopes, Voltmeters and other various electronic testing gear.
- Detailed understanding on how electronics work and must be able to source repair parts.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electronic Repair Technician or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for electronic repair.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy electronic equipment.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
