Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Electrician will engage in facilities equipment maintenance to ensure continuous operation of building and powerhouse equipment including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution and equipment modification. This position will be involved with basic and advanced electrical work as needed and as qualified.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining operational status of all electronic/electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot all electronic/electrical equipment
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed
• Accurately document work activities on applicable work orders
• Trend, collect and analyze facilities equipment performance
• Perform other position related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic:

• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
• Department of Labor Journeyman or 10 years or more verifiable industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Availability to work any shift
• Strong and verifiable medium voltage electrical equipment background
• Strong and verifiable instrumentation background

Preferred:

• Previous powerhouse or substation experience
• Previous chiller, VFD and compressor experience

Working Conditions:

• Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
