HVA, Inc. (A Ryker Company – is searching for a Hot Stick Lineman to become part of a team that provides a critical service to the nation’s infrastructure. HVA, Inc. is a Transmission Line and Aviation contractor that provides repair and inspection services to the electric utility industry working across the U.S.

Role Description

This is a full-time position, which requires flexibility for travel. The primary responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and installing live high-voltage power lines using specialized tools and techniques. The role involves working directly with transmission power systems, ensuring safety and efficiency during operations.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 1 year Hot Stick experience
• Proficient understanding of electricity and transmission power systems using Hot Stick techniques
• Proven experience operating in high-voltage or utility environments
• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record for operating commercial vehicles
• Strong commitment to safety standards and ability to work in demanding, outdoor environments
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification or technical training in electrical systems preferred
• Journeyman status preferred
• Ability to travel for field assignments
