We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, responsible for the overall management and coordination of our maintenance team. You will be in charge of ensuring that all our equipment and facilities are in top-notch condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of budget management, inventory management, and troubleshooting, coupled with a strong ability to develop and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
2. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring all expenses are within the allocated funds and identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
3. Supervise the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
4. Lead troubleshooting efforts in case of equipment or facility issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
5. Manage inventory for all maintenance-related items, ensuring there are no stockouts that could impact production.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
7. Collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
8. Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, budget utilization, equipment performance, and other key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
3. Extensive knowledge of budget management, inventory management, and troubleshooting techniques.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and implementing effective solutions.
7. Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
9. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. Certification in Maintenance Management or related field would be an added advantage.
