Line Cook – Farm2Preschool | Bebe Bitez | Palo Alto, CA

Full-Time | $23–$25/hr | Daytime Schedule | Mission-Driven Work

Bebe Bitez is seeking a Line Cook / Production Cook for our Farm2Preschool program in Palo Alto . We prepare fresh, healthy, farm-forward meals for preschools and schools, and we need a reliable cook to join our commercial kitchen team.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday & Saturday OFF

✅ No late nights | ✅ Consistent daytime schedule

Pay

• $23–$25/hour DOE
• Full-time position

Responsibilities

• Prep and cook meals following recipes and production standards
• Batch cooking and menu prep for school programs
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Assist with meal packing and labeling for deliveries
• Collaborate with chef and kitchen team to execute daily production

Qualifications

• Line cook, prep cook, or production kitchen experience preferred
• Commercial kitchen experience a plus (restaurant, catering, or institutional kitchens)
• Strong knife skills and ability to follow recipes
• Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Culinary students and recent grads welcome
