Logistics Performance Manager This position has accountability for ensuring that the logistics function meets organizational productivity and service commitments while ensuring individual locations are accountable for achieving individual, team, and regional goals. Additionally, this position is accountable for the implementation and management of strategic projects across the logistics function. This position also serves as a part of the Logistics Leadership Team that will be working onsite, Monday-Friday, dayshift schedule reporting to the VP of Logistics and Distribution..
Essential Functions:

- Seeks out and implements best practices and projects across the logistics function.
- Understands key logistics business drivers and metrics and transforms into meaningful data to support the development of timely and effective productivity and service solutions.
- Analyze and anticipate performance trends and key business drivers to plan, improve and course-correct the business.
- Develop detailed performance targets and accountability frameworks for delivering business results.
- Develop and lead tactics to meet operational targets.
- Identify and recommend new sources of productivity to drive efficiency.
- Ensures all financials are 100% accurate to forecast.
- Collaborate and partner cross functionally (Operations/Sales) to identify service level opportunities.
- Develop and implement financial and service level processes and best practices to develop and build capability of logistics field leadership.
- Ability to make difficult decisions and implement action plans to drive financial and service level performance.
- Conducts formal presentations including Logistics business review meetings.
- Own and lead key logistics projects to drive operational efficiency and service level performance.
- Own logistics communication calendar and cadence.
- Lead logistics budgeting process.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will Supervise the Logistics Analyst position.
Work Environment:
This position primarily operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position may occasionally require working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse setting during the workday.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. They position is active, requiring one to move about the office and warehouse environment where one would position oneself to maintain files or office supplies, occasionally enter and exit a vehicle. The employee must have the ability to observe details at close range, and constantly operate a computer and other productivity machinery, such as copy machine and printer.
Travel:
This position may require occasional travel to other Distribution Centers or meetings and may require occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel skills required: Formulas, Worksheets, Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Conditional Formatting, etc.
- SmartSheet experience preferred.
- Ability to give/receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to significantly influence productivity and service results across multiple sites remotely.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a results oriented, challenging environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through coaching and mentoring.
- Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
- Project management skills.
