**Marriott Beachside Hotel Food Attendants**
3841 N Roosevelt Blvd, Key West, FL 33040, USA Req #57 Wednesday, November 10, 2021 **Position Summary & Purpose** : Responsible for reset tables in a professional and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant. Attendants are also responsible for the grooming of the entire restaurant, as well as supporting servers and service staff with refills and cleaning tables.
**Essential Functions:**
* Know your work schedule and follow it with a high degree of reliability.
* Promptly greet guests as they are seated and serve them water.
* Clear tables after guests leave.
* Between setting promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths. Check the floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tables
* Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate gest requests to server immediately.
* Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service
* Perform your job according to standard operating procedures.
* Promptly report accidents, injuries, property damage or loss to manager/ supervisor.
* Inform management promptly of any work-related problems or guest complaints.
* Attend all scheduled training classes and meetings.
* Provide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
* Arrange for reasonable accommodations for person(s) with disabilities.
* Assist server with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
* Thank guest as they are leaving.
* Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness.
* Be a team player: Help out fellow employees when possible.
** SCHEDULES:**
** This restaurant operates seven days a week. I am aware that at times it will be necessary to move me from my accustomed shift if business demands. I also understand that business determines the amount of hours I work. Management retains discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time.**
