SolidWorks Mechanical Designer - Immediate NEED

You will be supporting product manufacturing by documenting and utilizing manufacturing processes to create job work instructions.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Working with Lead Product Group Engineer to ensure created routings meet shop floor efficiencies.
• Utilizing the customer Drawings, and Engineering Design Review to plan manufacturing processes and document sequences on shop router.
• Communicating clear expectations to shop floor through the router.
• Evaluating and selecting manufacturing processes.
• Determining the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources.
• Ensuring all customer requirements are communicated to shop floor.
• Ensuring that all manufacturing product specifications are developed, and testing procedures are in place before starting up work orders.
REQUIREMENTS :
• Experience in any metal forming industry.
• Experience with 3D Solid Modeling CAD software to design production drawings.
• Experience Designing tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Experience ensuring that the production documentation including travelers, drawings, inspections, procedures, or instructions meets the company’s standards, policies, and practices.
• Experience Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
