Job Summary Sentara Medical Group has an opening for an Acute Care NP or PA to join our Orthopedic - Hand Surgery Team in Harrisonburg, Virginia. We are interested in an APP who is driven by quality healthcare, the delivery of compassionate patient care, and the ability to create a great patient experience.
Join a well-functioning Orthopedic team consisting of: total joint, sports medicine surgeons, upper extremity surgeon, hand surgeon, spine surgeon, plus non-operative sports physicians, non-operative spine physician, non-operative hand, and 6 Physician Assistants.
Position Highlights:
•Well-appointed office space on hospital campus
•See new patients, follow-ups, and post-op patients
•Strong built-in referral base
•Specialize in Hand Surgery
•Call from home; 1:6 (phone only)
•Weekly schedule of 2-3 days in OR setting; 2-3 days in clinic (8a-5p)
•Digital x-ray and PACS at the practice; MRI on hospital campus
•Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Rehab Services available

Qualifications: MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required), MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - North Carolina Medical Board (NC), Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Other/National, Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
