Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate, process and resolve first party property insurance claims


• Prompt communication with policyholders, agents and other involved parties


• Travel to claim sites as needed


• Read, interpret and apply insurance policy language to reported loss


• Independently document and maintain accurate records, reports and other information related to the claims handling process


• Adapt to and utilize technology

Experience:

• Construction background and/or prior insurance experience is a plus!


• Ability to work both as a member of a team and independently within granted authority


• Bi-lingual is a plus! (Spanish)

Requirements:

• Must have valid Driver’s License


• Must use own vehicle


• Must have home office space


• Must live in Northern Tier of PA or Southern Tier of NY


• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical/Trade school certification or college degree preferred.
