We have 4 locations across Texas: Houston, The Woodlands, Austin and San Antonio.
Responsibilities This role will play a critical role for WGA in sourcing and hiring top-tier civil engineering professionals to support our growing project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the civil engineering industry, a robust network of contacts, and a proven track record of recruiting for a variety of roles within this field. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and organizational skills, capable of managing the full recruitment cycle from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a range of positions including engineers, designers, roles in shared services and other roles, as needed.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through networking, industry events, and partnerships with educational institutions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate assessments, and reference checks.
- Utilize various recruiting tools and platforms, including social media, job boards, and applicant tracking systems (ATS), to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to ensure competitive hiring practices.
- Foster positive candidate experiences and maintain strong relationships with potential hires.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's presence in the civil engineering talent market.
Requirements
Qualifications •3+ years of recruitment experience with a focus on civil engineering or related industries.
•In-depth knowledge of civil engineering roles and the skills required for success in this field.
•Proven success in developing and executing recruitment strategies for engineering positions.
•Strong network within the civil engineering community and experience leveraging professional associations, industry groups, and social media platforms for recruitment.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
•Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
•Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
•High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; preferred.
