Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse, required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR, required
• NIH Stroke Survey Certification course within 90 days
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)within90 days
• Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam, preferred.
• 2 years’ experience, required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Required  Knowledge  and  Skills

Ability o utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including, but not limited to, administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others

Ability to multi-task, delegate, and prioritize

Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to collaborate with other health care providers

Ability to educate patients and/or significant others

Ability to communicate effectively

Possess personal computer skills
