Position Summary: A Staff Educator functions as educator, facilitator, and coordinator for nursing staff, ancillary clinical employees, direct service employees, contract employees, volunteers, and licensed independent professionals. This position assisted the Manager of Education with planning, coordinating, developing, and teaching educational programs. The Staff Educator will also maintain current knowledge of new and updated hospital policies, accreditation, and regulatory compliance standards that affect the hospital organization.

Required Education :
Associates degree in Nursing required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing Preferred
Required License: Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)
Required Certification: American Heart Association BLS is required
AHA BLS instructor within 6 months of hire
AHA ACLS and PALS instructor within 6 months of hire
