School Occupational Therapist Opening in New Rochelle, New York

ProCare Therapy is seeking a committed and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our New Rochelle team for the remainder of the current school year. In this role, you will provide essential therapy services to students with disabilities in a school environment. We offer competitive pay ($42-$54+ per hour) and a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K options!

Essential Responsibilities:

Assess students' capabilities and design tailored treatment plans
Facilitate therapy sessions within the school setting
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff
Provide guidance to staff on effective strategies for supporting students with disabilities
Track student progress and revise treatment plans as needed
Maintain precise and timely records of services provided

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid OT License in New York
Previous experience working with children in a school-based environment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team

Interview Process:

A 20-30 minute virtual interview with the school district
