About the Role Our client is seeking a talented and passionate Tableau Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to provide valuable insights into business performance. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into compelling visualizations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Server. Connect to various data sources, including SQL databases, to extract and transform data for analysis. Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with business users to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective visualizations. Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity, data quality, and dashboard performance. Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and business intelligence. Bonus: Familiarity with Databricks and its ecosystem. Bonus: Experience with PySpark. Qualifications: Strong proficiency in SQL with experience working with various SQL databases. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong intuition for data accuracy and validity. Experience with Python Ability to think logically and approach data challenges with a methodical mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Passion for data visualization and a desire to learn and grow within the field. Bonus: Experience in the financial services industry. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
