Job Description
Job Description: The UI/UX Designer will be skilled in balancing generating design research and prototyping. You will spearhead research initiatives that inform our product strategy while work closely with cross functional teams including Product, Design, Engineers, and Sales Team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct comprehensive research methodologies including interviews, surveys, product data analysis to gain a deep understanding of our customers.
- Gather research findings into actionable insights and collaborative ideation sessions with cross functional teams.
- Contribute to all stages of the design process from brainstorming, research, wireframing, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes to refine user experiences.
- Extensive experience in using UI design best practices and a deep understanding of web applications, mobile applications, and responsive design.
- Design and prototype new features and ideas for current and future products
- Communicate design goals and specifications to development teams.
- Experience working within established style guides and design systems.
- Ability to quickly deliver multiple, inventive ideas that are fresh and simple while solving complex customer and business needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting using the Agile Framework.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS CONTINUED:
- At a minimum, the ability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
- Ability to accept supervision.
- Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
- Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 4+ years of UI/UX Research
- Previous experience working on SaaS applications
- Expertise in standard UX software including Figma is a must.
- Must have an online portfolio of design projects.
- Analytical thinking with a business acumen and experience with qualitative and quantitative research
- Empathy and curiosity with usability testing and generate insights from interviews.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
