We are looking for a meticulous and skilled wafer assembly technician to join our team in Shoreview, MN. As an essential part of our manufacturing team, you will support the assembly of high-quality semiconductor devices in a clean room environment.

Location: Shoreview, MN

Wage: $20 - $30/hr., depending on experience

Hours: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Duties of the skilled wafer assembly technician:

• Assemble semiconductor components using precision tools
• Perform wafer scribe, die sorting, die attach, and lead bonding
• Handle and transport wafers in the Clean Room
• Inspect and test components for quality compliance
• Maintain accurate assembly and inspection records
• Follow safety and clean room protocols
• Use microscopes for detailed inspection and assembly
• Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow

Requirements of the skilled wafer assembly technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, medical assembly, or PCB assembly preferred
• Prior experience working in a Clean Room environment is highly beneficial
• Proficiency in using high-power and low-power microscopes for detailed inspection
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for delicate assembly work
• Basic math skills and data recording abilities for accurate documentation
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
